Tom Rosenthal, tenor, alto, soprano, and baritone saxophones; flute; guitar

Tom received his B.A. in Music at Hobart College in Geneva, NY in 1978. He also attended the Berklee College of music in 1973-1974. Tom has been a private instrumental teacher and performer in Central Jersey for over 30 years.

Tom is graduated from Morristown High School in 1971. His musical career began at age 11 with classical piano lessons, and at 12, jazz guitar lessons. As a college freshman, he switched to tenor saxophone, and began playing in rock and jazz ensembles. In the late 1970’s, he toured and performed with 50’s rock greats Danny and the Juniors. From the late 1980’s until 2005, he played and sang with the Delivery Boys, a rock quintet that appeared principally in Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. He has also played with New Brunswick-based rock acts Vitamin S and The Joint.

Tom teaches woodwinds and music theory at the Somerville School of Music, and plays tenor saxophone in the Newtown (PA) Saxophone Quartet.
