Began playing guitar in 1956. Completely self taught, played in rock bands in the late 50's and early 60's. Joined the Army in '61 and was sent to Germany from '62 to '64. After returning to the US, played weddings, club dates, etc. Studied with Harry Leahey from Mar '67 to July '68. Influences: Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Kenny Burell, and Barney Kessell. Played in several big bands and other groups on and off.
