Vincent F. Borselli Jr. has been teaching instrumental music in the Edison Township Public School system for the past 17 years. He is a graduate of The Manhattan School of Music and The New Jersey Institute of Technology. He also has a Masters in Music Education from Boston University. He has taught instrumental music in the Cranbury and Irvington public school system, as well as architectural, mechanical, manual and computer drafting at New Brunswick and Jackson Memorial High Schools. As a professional trumpet player, Mr. Borselli has worked in many different settings. He has performed in the Broadway pit orchestras of Crazy for You, Big, A Christmas Carol, Damn Yankees, and Kiss Of The Spiderwoman. He has also appeared with Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Johnny Mathis, LaBamba's Big Band, Gary US Bonds, The OJays, The Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra with The Pied Pipers, Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor, The Spinners, The Garden State Philharmonia, The Encore Orchestra, The Harry James Orchestra, Michael Feinstein, Peter Nero and The Philly Pops, Bobby Rydell, Linda Rondstadt, Olivia Newton-John, The Duprees, Jerry Vale, Wayne Newton, The Irish Tenors, Freda Payne, Eddie Holman, Connie Francis, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, Lou Christie, The Flamingos and many others. Featured on recordings with Jazz Organist Joey Defrancesco, The Real Deal Big Band, The Dalton Gang, Richie Cole's Alto Madness Orchestra, Philadelphia's City Rhythm Big Band, and many others. Mr. Borselli is a member of the American Federation of Musicians, The International Trumpet Guild and the New Jersey Music Educators Association. |
