Jeff Pecca, guitarist

Jeff Pecca began playing piano at age 6 and switched to guitar when he was 11, at which time he played in his first band. Jeff's early musical influences included the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Steely Dan.

Jeff began playing jazz in the early 70’s and studied with the late Harry Leahey. As an aspiring jazz musician, he was inspired by guitarists such as Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, George Benson, and Pat Metheny.

Jeff has played in working bands in the New Jersey area for almost four decades. These include rock trios, Southern rock/country groups, Top 40 and dance bands, small jazz combos and a 17-piece big band.

Jeff has a day gig as a mechanical engineer. He currently lives in Neptune, NJ with his wife Patricia.
